WHAT IS A BRUSH CUTTER?
A brush cutter, also known as a mulcher is a digger attachment used to clear shrubs and grass. It is exceptionally good for overgrown terrains. It is essentially a large lawn mower suitable for an excavator to operate.
The attachment is made up of high quality steel rotary blades that will cut through materials cleanly. It is also fitted with a heavy duty debris shield, however the same rules still apply: Never stand too close in case any materials fly out the sides. It will certainly make any landscaping job an easy task!
Our brush cutter attachments are used on a 5 tonne excavator, which have been bespoke made by our sister company, Masterhitch Europe Ltd.
What is it used for?
The brush cutter attachment is commonly used within the landscaping and agricultural sector. Not only is it fantastic for clearing shrubs as mentioned above, it can also remove:
- Brambles
- Overgrown vegetation
- Small plants / trees
- Hedges
- Reaching over fences
- Mowing grass around ponds
